In these experiments I am looking at how communication tehcology is embedded in the landscape, through carvings, pictorial language, stones, runes, digital symbols, emojis,weather icons and signs that exist within the landscape.

I began drawing decpitions/maps of places that I have visited and can no longer access Arrachor, Neilston, Loch Freuchie and Weem Woods. These maps are made in a similar way to the videos of digital traveling relating to these sites. they are peronsalised through my interaction and relation to these places, selecting what histories and marks that I am attracted to, simitaniously creating and erasing their place myth.
